I didnt think this day would come when I would blog about my one-dress-a-day campaign for 365 days. It is so unfortunate that I could not keep up with it. Have been so busy both at work, packing and sending dresses, thinking of things to sell to raise money for postage at the end of the day even though I wanted to do it, was so exhausted to find myself still sitting in front of my sewing machine to sew a dress.
In 2 weeks time will be my last market for the year. I will not have any market stalls for Christmas shopping. My dress distribution is also finished for the year 2013. All parcels are packed and just waiting for the right time for it to be sent. All my plans for Dress a Girl Australia for the year 2013 is completed and the last two months of the year (Nov and Dec) I have decided to take a rest from all Dress A Girl activities. No sorting, no packing. Of course I will be responding to emails if needed but these 2 months will be spent for myself. I hope to continue on with my sewing as a form of relaxation and try to catch up.
For those who are contemplating to make dresses or pairs of shorts to donate, I highly recommend for anyone not to send me any parcels until early next year to avoid the busy season and confusion in the mailing and avoid inconveniences. Allocations and distributions will resume in early March.
Thanks everyone for your support in 2013
